Marconi Exhibits at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana

If you love cars and love racing then you need to join us in Fontana!

We have a unique opportunity to partner with Porsche Owner’s Club and their Tribute to Le Mans on Saturday, June 1, 2013. We are taking two of our Ferrari’s as well as having a booth to showcase our impressive venue which helps raise money for children in need throughout Orange County.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We are going to attend the Ink and Iron Show in Long Beach on June 7- 9, 2013. It is a tattoo trade show! I know you’re asking yourself, why in the world would we be getting a booth at a tattoo convention!! The answer is we would like to increase our wedding business here at the Museum and we think our venue might be perfect for the edgier bride and groom!

We have some time slots throughout the weekend that we could use the help of some outgoing volunteers that might enjoy overseeing our booth and talking to people about our venue and passion for kids.

Wine tasting at the Museum!

We feature wine tasting of more than 80 rare and unique wines, many of which are from boutique wineries spanning the globe. Tray passed fare will be prepared by Executive Chef Yvon Goetz and guests will enjoy a silent & live auction. Sunday in the Vineyard has netted close to $200,000 for charities. This is an unusual and delicious way to spend a Sunday afternoon while making a positive impact fundraising for these two worthy organizations in our community.

Sunday in the Vineyard benefits the Marconi Foundation for Kids as well as Working Wardrobes.

More excitement is just around the corner!

We are thrilled to report that Fight Night 15 was a knock out success! Victor Ortiz was delightful (and we wish him well on Dancing With The Stars) and you, our guests, were so gracious and generous. We look forward to seeing you in March 2014 for our Sweet 16!

Next up – Sunday in the Vineyard. For those of you who’ve attended, you know how delicious the wine is! We’ve moved venues to our home, the Marconi Automotive Museum. The Winery Restaurant and Young’s Market will be right there with us, putting this fantastic collaboration together. And we are excitedly awaiting the partnership with the Marconi Foundation and Working Wardrobes.

Vet Net, which is a subsidiary of Working Wardrobes is who will benefit from Sunday in the Vineyard. Vet Net works with returning veterans as they struggle to re-enter civilian life. There are so many things they and their families are faced to struggle. We are there for them. And if you join us for this once in a lifetime event, you will be showing them your support as well!

Mother Desiree and Baby Lily came by for a visit to the museum. Desiree has been a valued event planner who’s worked with the Marconi Automotive Museum for many years as a special event planner. She’s made the exciting decision to be a stay at home mommy and we send her off to this new chapter of her life with love, affection, and many thanks for a job well done!
